A one day professional development seminar on the 18th June 2011 covering the topics of:
1. Morning Session (11am -12.30pm):
Exhibition Planning and hanging
Introduction and insight into installation. How to plan, lay-out and hang an exhibition. Participants will be given a tour of the current Mostyn Open Exhibition by way of explanation.
Speaker/s: Tour by Wendy Couling, and Talk by Sian Green.
12.30pm-1.30pm Coffee, Tea
2. Afternoon session (1.30pm -3pm):
How to present work to galleries
Introduction on how to approach galleries, curators and how your work should be presented. Insight into selection of work by galleries and advice on everything from framing to pricing for visual, applied, performance, film, sound and digital artists. How to present work through photographs, websites etc.

The seminar will take place in the meeting room at Oriel Mostyn gallery, 12 Vaughan Street, Llandudno, LL30 1AB
